SKE48, the Nagoya-based sister group of AKB48, is quickly gaining recognition as the next top girl group in Japan. On 4th Feb episode of SMAPxSMAP, they teamed up with SMAP to perform a medley of SKE songs including “Katamoi Finally”, “1!2!3!4!Yoroshiku” and “Kiss Datte Hidari Hiki”.
SMAP only invites famous personalities like Michael Jackson, Justin Bieber etc on their program, so appearing on the show is a great privilege for SKE48.
