I wonder if the low sales for SKE single are for the late shipment that some people say. In general AKBG has been declined, I just read Kokoro no placard update the HS sales and after the 6th rounds actually just 7 girls sold out 20/20, I hope this single is not the one breaking the one million sales.
I also think that the 48grp is going through a decline. SKE used to sell at the 500k level but now they are only at the 300k mark. Can a later shipment really cause such a big difference? I thought Nogizaka was on the rise cos they managed to break the 500k mark, but recently they’ve slowed down. As for NMB, i think sales will go down as well since albums are generally harder to sell.
The HS sales for KNP are indeed worrying. But there’s still weeks ahead so we’ll see. I believe the management will do all they can to retain the million streak.
I don’t think this is going to break the million streak despite the very poor HS sales. But if that does indeed happen or if it marks the decline in overall sales or 48’s popularity in general, it is indeed very ironic. Because with Mayu having recently been crowned queen and the beginning of the second chapter of AKB, it was supposed to provide a new security for the group. If the opposite happens, it’s a slap in the face.
