There’s been a string of updates with the 48group’s activities recently. Will update this post later but first, putting up the performances from yesterday.

1. Labrador Retriever(Mayuyu center)
This is quite a rare version cos it consists only of AKB members.
2. Heavy Rotation (Mayuyu center)
Mayuyu showed off a simplistic solo dance for Yuko’s iconic song. Kizaki Yuria took the place of Mayuyu’s old spot. I have no idea why she ended up in the frontline as there are definitely better performers in the back row.
3. Koisuru Fortune Cookie (Sashihara center)
No comments because i am quite sick of this song.
4. Mae Shika Mukanee (Jurina center)
Some cringe-worthy solo from Jurina, who was not only off-pitch but off-beat.The girl probably knows how bad it was as she finished with a pout.

“AKB48 looking for part-timer idol, salary at 1000Yen/hour”
AKB48 is now looking for a part-timer idol to join their group activities, after finishing a time-limited stint with adult member Tsukamoto Mariko. This was announced at the “AKB48 Group Summer Festival” held at Chiba Makuhari Messe yesterday.
In a collaboration with Baitoru(a recruitment company), AKB48 will take on this part-timer in a similar time limited project as well. Interested candidates need not have any previous singing/dancing experience and is expected to participate in CMs, handshake events, TV and Magazine shoots. In return she will be paid a salary of 1000Yen per hour. Transport, food and costumes will also be provided for. The selected member’s contract will end Feb 2015,thereafter it is renewable for 3 months.
Interested candidates are invited to submit an application at this site, after which auditions will be held to decide on the member.

After seeing Mayuyu and Jurina in Yuko’s place, I really hope they keep testing different centers for those songs till they find better replacements… Seeing hebirote performed in a tame manner is a bit frustrating, but msm died… It just needed a competent vocal performance to massively improve >___>
lol @ “msm died”. Jurina definitely surprised everyone with her solo skills. I think Takamina would be the safer bet for this…someone with vocals and the boy-ish rocker spirit.
” Paruru creates a sensation with her twintails once again!” as people are talking a lot about it ??? the girl creates sensation whatever she does (even for a pic or small comment). She is like the new Maeda, so that I was surprised Shimazaki didn’t sold out even one slot after the new info about KNP HS sales.
Yes, there was a buzz about her twintails from the Ongaku no Hi performance. About her hs sales, maybe her fans are just satisfied seeing her on TV?She must be really salty in real life.
Well Mayuyu was never known for her dance skills and Jurina for her vocal skills, but they should have improved something after so many years in the group. As for Yuria management is trying to push her, it was suppose a big deal her transfer from SKE to AKB to leave her just like one more AKB member.

So you’re quite sick of Koi suru because it’s a Sasshi-centered single or because of the song itself?
I’m glad HR didn’t graduate with Yuko but performing it without her there is just weird. btw, did Ue kara Mariko graduate with Mariko? Unfortunately, the videos no longer work for me.
Both? More importantly, it’s because the song’s been performed xxxxxxxxx times, and tomorrow we’ll probably see another one.
Ue Kara Mariko is still being performed in request hour. Mariko showed up in this year’s request hour to center the song.

The fact Koi suru is still being performed this much a year on is just proof of its immense popularity and/or people like to see Sasshi taking the lead. I still like it tbh.I wonder if Kokoro will have any staying power at all.
