Earlier in July, AKB48‘s 4th documentary film ‘DOCUMENTARY of AKB48 The time has come Shoujotachi wa, Ima, Sono Senaka ni Nani Omou?‘ was aired in theaters in Japan. For international fans who were not able to catch it in theaters, good news as the documentary will be released as DVD on 7 November 2014.

The documentary will follow AKB48’s activities from 2013 to June 2014. It will highlight the group’s big team shuffle, Oshima Yuko’s graduation, the stabbing incident and AKB48 32th/37th Single Senbatsu General Election.

A teaser for the documentary is seen below.

Takamina: As everyone knows,a sad incident has occurred.
Yukirin: I don’t want to lose a place where i can meet everyone directly.
Sasshi: AKB48 won’t lose!
Mayuyu: I’ll move forward with AKB48’s future in mind.
Yuko: I realised that i was in AKB48 for the sake of my friends, because friends are here.
Takamina: Lets do what we can so that Kawaei and Iriyama can have a place they can return to.
Yokoyama: It’s the time for the members to unite.

The theme song for this documentary, “Ai no Sonzai”, was performed in AKB48 Show a few days ago.

I only own the first documentary. These documentaries are very important for those of us who aspire to be AKB48 Historians. (No, I’m not making one of my jokes.)

Sweetness. For the “Ai no Sonzai” song video, I was having one of those moments.

Thinking, “That is the prettiest face I’ve ever seen” … then they show the next member, and I’m thinking: “No, now there is the prettiest face there is” …then again … “wait, she has the cutest pouty face” then “no wait … GAAAA” , the … the next and the next… all the way back to the first one again …
