AKB48 theme song for NHK drama “Asa ga Kita” is a folk rock

Following yesterday’s article, it was announced that NHK’s morning drama “Asa ga Kita” theme song “365nichi no Kami Hikouki” will be a folk rock song with NMB48 Yamamoto Sayaka singing the opening line.

The song was unveiled at a press event yesterday with the drama’s lead actor Tamaki Hiroshi(35) and actress Haru(24) in attendance. They could not hide their surprise at the different style of this song.

Haru: This is perfect. The opening and illustrations are very cute and compatible. AKB’s song feels very good.
Tamaki Hiroshi: This is different from the usual AKB songs. It’s calm and suitable for the mornings.”

The drama talks about the daughter of a rich family in Kyoto who marries a businessman and tries to revive her family business.

With regards to AKB members being casted in this drama, executive producer Sano Motohiko said “The script is still being written.I’d ask them to appear if they fit.”

However, filming for episodes airing this year has been completed so even if the members were to appear, the earliest would be next year.

I am quite sure that this song won’t be the next single then cos AkiP mentioned in ANN recently he’s looking for a orthodox idol song next.
