Song of Summer 2015: “Kimi ga kureta Natsu” by Leo Ireiri

9 Sep

Those who have been watching Fuji TV’s “Koinaka” starring Honda Tsubasa and Sota Fukushi will have heard the theme song sung by Leo Ireiri. Titled “Kimi ga kureta natsu” (The summer you gave me), the song has been slaying the digital charts for almost 4 weeks now and is still staying strong despite Sandaime J Soul Brother’s entrance last week. The song has also spawned covers from many YouTube singers.

The song was penned by Leo Ireiri herself and talks about the sadness of love. Would you agree that it’s a good song?
