My passion for 48Group is running dry, so i think i will leave it to other sites to do their translations.
If you’re interested in what happened in the Sousenkyo, can checkout some brief translation notes in my Live Chat.
I really appreciate those who follow my site every year during this time. (Although the number is decreasing drastically.) It’s still always nice when some pop by to say they were here last year. Thanks and maybe we’ll see each other again.
I’ve been following your blog for a couple of years, I used to post to time to time here but I am not as much interested in AKB as before, and now that Kojiharu is gonna graduate I won’t be following AKB anymore. I think like you, old AKB fans are losing interest in AKB, and not just i-fans but just looking at the stadium the number of people attending the sousenkyo are decreasing. I just want to say thank you for taking the time to translate all those articles, it was really interesting to follow AKB . 🙂
Thank you! Kojiharu is the biggest entertainer of AKB and she’s definitely fulfilled her promise of “doing something for AKB” all these years, despite the constant pressure of media asking when she’s going to quit. I loved her little skit with Yuko tonight. AKB will never be the same.
Sashihara Rino AGAIN~ -__- #teamjurina
Hello, I’ve been following your blog for awhile. Are you done with 48g and nogi or just 48g and does it have to do with mayu not winning or just a general disintrest, Thank You.
I dun think i’m done with AKB48 yet, will continue posting if there’s interesting info. There’s still Kojiharu’s graduation to followup with, and you know, the standard Bunshun post-Sousenkyo scoop, which is coming up tonight.
I’m generally done with SKE/NMB/HKT/Nogi – their music is really boring, not that AKB songs are any better. I also feel like i’m wasting my time translating stuff on these groups when there doesn’t seem to be any interest.
It doesn’t have to do with Mayu winning or not. I know very well that my coverage of 48G has been decreasing steadily ever since i started this site. As mentioned my passion is running dry – you can only stay in this fandom for a certain number of years.
I was sorry to miss watching the sousenkyo this year – moved out of uni for the last time yesterday! I’m happy about Sasshi’s win because I find Mayuyu a bit dull in center, though otherwise excellent as an idol. Surprised that Yuki dropped so much, and Kojiharu/Nyan Nyan Kamen really crashed. It would have been sad for her to drop out of senbatsu altogether though, so I’m glad that was avoided!
Congrats on graduating(?) , Sophie!
I forgot who used to root for – Takamina? I think the next single is something to lookout for since it has a drama theme song, but the other A-side is looking like another KFC already.
Thank you! Yep, old takamina oshi – can’t say anyone’s replacing her in my affections anytime soon, but I’m still enjoying the drama of sousenkyo. However, if it results in kfc part 3, I’ll be annoyed; KNP was a snoozefest and the original never excited me that much either. Drama theme song might have potential though – 365 no kamihikouki was pretty and I loved nogizaka 46’s tsuki no ookisa.
