This is a special episode to celebrate Music Station’s 30th anniversary. Show was 10hours long and featured many major acts including X Japan, Ayumi Hamasaki, EXILE, 48Group, Johnny’s Family etc.

The biggest winner from this performance is SMAP’s Kimutaku, who was forced into the KFC performance by Sashihara. Despite the annoyance on his face, he performed the full choreography perfectly, impressing netizens with his professionalism.In the end Kimutaku said “Music Station does things like this?”

Within 48 fandom, many gushed over cute Paruru’s healthy return to senbatsu. I have to say Paruru’s signature twintails are really cute! Many are calling Payuyu the strongest combi in AKB48.

Johnny’s performances are quite fun this time around as we have live video footage of Arashi from their Miyagi concert, and medleys where the idols are grouped according to their generation. Performances from Ongaku no Hi 2015

‘Ongaku no Hi’ started back in 2011 after the Great Tohoku Earthquake with the concept “Let’s spread energy across Japan by gathering the power of music and song!” This will be TBS’ 5th year broadcasting the program, and it will be a special project commemorating the 60th anniversary since their establishment.

The show aired on 27th June 2015 for some 8hours and a total of 50 artistes performed.

First of all, i LIKE this song. The tune reminds me of idol songs from many years ago, like 80s or 90s?  The lyrics describe a shy girl’s heart very well and you can hear alot of rhyming words. Below is a translation of the lyrics:

Performance wise, the choreography is really cute. I guess the biggest gripe most would have is the significance of Kodama Haruka as center, since she didn’t get to stand in the center during important parts of the song and is forced to share the spotlight with Sakura, Sasshi and the new twin combination Nako-Miku. I can go to lengths about this but since i’m not a fan I shall just enjoy their music.

 

GENERATIONS – Always with you
I looked at this group and recognized a couple of faces from GTO. Gosh after the scandal between GENERATIONS Alan Shirahama and AKB48 Minegishi Minami, you’d think they’d avoid putting AKB48 Kizaki Yuria in a drama with these guys. Anyway the dancer in white shirt and black hair is Alan Shirahama. Sorry for gossiping, but music wise this group is like a weaker version of EXILE.

I only watched “Asu e no Yell”. It’s a really nice song, sorta feels like a song for World Cup. The audience were really fired up as well – don’t know if it’s the effect of drama Suikyuu Yankees?

Reporter asks Alan Shirahama if he wants to shave his head

Found another article which is slightly juicier. However, i may not have translated it accurately, so take it with a pinch of salt!

A reporter from Tokyo Sports attended a GENERATIONS press event in Osaka on the 1st Feb(note that this was before Alan apologised), where Alan(or another member)  promoted their upcoming live by saying that it’d be so fun that the audience can lose weight easily, so those who wish to diet are encouraged to come. At this point, someone from the press revealed that Minegishi Minami’s goal this year is also to lose weight. Alan did not react to this comment but instead, his member tried to help by saying something totally irrelevant. During the event, there were shouts of “Minegishi” and fans who turned up wearing Gachapin outfits(a cartoon character symbolic of Miichan), but ultimately there was no huge disturbance.

While Alan was moving backstage to rest, the press asked if he had seen Miichan’s infamous YouTube video, but he ignored them completely.

The reporter then decided to ask him directly by joining in the 4000 fans for a handshake. After queuing for 1 hr, the reporter finally faced a smiling Alan and asked “Do you have anything you want to say to Minegishi?”. His face changed upon hearing this and he said “Erm…pls wait a minute.” The reporter pressed on with “Having seen Minegishi’s shaved head, what are the chances of shaving your head?”.  He didn’t respond but looked downcast.

After the reporter left, Alan immediately switched back to professional mode, smiling and interacting with fans behind.

Alan Shirahama apologises for scandal with Minegishi Minami

Shirahama Alan, the guy involved in Miichan’s scandal, appeared at the handshake event for GENERATIONS’ 2nd single “Animal” on 3rd Feb and apologised in front of his fans.

Bowing his head, he said “I’m very sorry for the trouble i’ve caused this time. I’ll work harder in future, so please continue to look after me.”

It took him quite long to apologise huh? But according to Sanspo, he initially refrained from speaking about the scandal for fear of causing more chaos. But he decided to break his silence after seeing Miichan apologising to fans at her handshake event on 2nd Feb.

Alan’s elder sister, Shirahama Loveli, who is a model and TV personality, said that Alan had texted/called her to warn and apologise about his scandal.

In case you want to know more about Shirahama Alan,he is a actor and member of GENERATIONS. His label LDH does not have any dating ban and prefers not to interfere in their talents’ private lives. So that’s probably why they are lying low so far.
