Shingo, Kusanagi & Goro leave J&A, possibly rejoining Iljima for China advancement

The trio will leave Johnny’s at the end of their contract in September and will possibly be rejoining ex-manager Iljima for China advancements. Iljima is supposedly now with a Chinese affiliated company and will be working with influential people in the Chinese movie industry. There are reports that the trio have visited China over several occasions so it’s likely they will be appearing in Chinese movies.

If this is true, these guys are either doing it becos Johnny’s is blacklisting them from the industry, or because of the money. China’s productions are so lacking that they often spend big bucks for overseas stars to make a cameo. The only Japanese stars i’ve seen accepting these offers are expired artistes like Akanishi Jin or Yamapi. But SMAP is way too high class for China productions!

Johnny’s idol you wouldn’t want to marry

In a Menjoy! (female magazine) poll, 200 females in their 20s to 40s were asked which Johnny’s member (among SMAP, TOKIO and V6) they’d not want to marry. Results are below.

3rd Place: Morita Go(V6) –21%

“He’s a casanova”
“I don’t like his face”

With his blonde hair, Morita’s gyaru image is probably what put off females.

2nd Place: Inagaki Goro(SMAP) –35%

“He likes himself, he wouldn’t be able to love others”
“He’s funny but it feels like it’d be difficult to live with him”

Goro is good looking but it’ll also be difficult for his wife because of this.

1st Place: Nakai Masahiro(SMAP) — 48%

“He seems troublesome because he loves cleanliness.”
“He seems very stingy. It’s ok if he wants to save on expenses but i can’t bear stinginess.”
“It seems like he can do anything alone. He doesn’t seem suited to living with others.”

Nakai himself has said that the probability of marriage is low.

On Wide Show, Nakai said that the chances of the remaining SMAP bachelors getting married is even lower.
