Ishihara Satomi spotted attending Yamapi’s home party

Ishihara Satomi has been spotted visiting Yamashita Tomohisa’s apartment one night in early May.

The 2 were co-actors and lovers in last year’s Fuji TV drama “5-ji kara 9-ji made”.

Ishihara won a “Lead Actress” award and Yamashita won a “Supporting Actor” award in the 19th Nikkan Sports Drama Grand Prix.

“Ishihara isn’t known for dating rumors with other talents usually, and the only one which was reported was a serious relationship with a cameraman. Her ideal type is the sincere kind. Indeed Yamapi has always been spotted while on his night outs with friends. He was also reported to be in a relationship with Kitagawa Keiko and Abiru Yuu. But when did he get serious with Ishihara?

After the drama, Ishihara went for meals with the co-actors frequently.

Another article reports on how Yamapi is stressing over his “blank schedule” ahead, a result of his ex-manager Iljima leaving Johnny’s and leaving him now in an awkward position with the company. He grew closer to Ishihara, who has been supporting him all these while.

Ishihara Satomi tops “Most Desirable Face” ranking

Ishihara Satomi is ranked No.1 by readers of a beauty magazine, in the “Most Desirable Face” category. She appeared an an event on 17th December to receive her award.

“I’m really happy. Firstly i want to thank my parents,” she said with a smile. Readers of the magazine apparently praised her for having a natural charm.

To this, she revealed that she has been doing her own makeup for dramas, and experimenting with minimizing the makeup. “For example, in cases where i use powder foundation usually, i’d try putting on concealer instead. I studied hard for this.”

She also said that she goes bare-faced on her days off. Did her natural charm get to you?

Back Number sings OST theme for drama “5-ji kara 9-ji made”

The song titled “Christmas Song” is a medium ballad and will be released as Back Number’s 14th single on 18th November.

The song was aired in the 12th October pilot episode of Fuji TV drama “5-ji kara 9-ji made”, which stars Ishihara Satomi and Yamashita Tomohisa.

Had high expectations for this drama given the star studded cast and it being adapted from a manga i liked, but after watching the first episode, nah.

Yamapi and Ishihara Satomi to act as lovers in manga adaptation”5-ji kara 9-ji Made”

Actress Ishihara Satomi(28) and Yamashita Tomohisa(30) will be starring in October’s Fuji TV drama “5→9 ~The overly handsome monk who fell in love with me~”.

Ishihara will play an English teacher who welcomes the most popular period of her life after meeting a handsome monk(Yamapi). Their first meeting results in Ishihara accidentally pouring incense ashes over Yamapi’s head during a funeral service. They reunite at a blind meeting and he approaches her.

I’m really excited cos i read this manga and found it to be quite good. 

Media not offering more details but here’s some potential spoilers:

1. Yamapi is playing a “carnivorous” type of guy 
2. There is supposed to be a love triangle as Ishihara has a friend who’s liked her for a long time.

This story is supposed to make you go “kyun kyun” or “kya~~” provided it’s adapted well. I’m abit worried about Yamapi not living up to the character as his overall image is too stylish. Tamaki Hiroshi, on the other hand would have been a perfect fit.

Celebrities grace the runway for Girls Award 2015 Spring/Summer

Various celebrities showed up at the Girls Award event in Tokyo’s Yoyogi National Stadium yesterday and showed off the latest fashion for this year’s spring/summer collection.

Amongst the celebrities are “Model 5” from Nogizaka46. Each of them are exclusive models for various fashion magazines and together, they look quite formidable.
