Mr Children to release theme song for Getsu9 drama “Nobunaga Concerto”

I just watched the first episode of Nobunaga Concerto and my ears pricked when i heard this song so i HAVE to write an article about it!

Popular rock band Mr Children are releasing the theme song for this season’s FujiTV Getsu9 drama “Nobunaga Concerto”, starring Oguri Shun. Titled “Ashi Oto ~ Be Strong” ,it will be released on the 19th November.

This is the band’s new single after 2 years and 7 months, and also the band’s new Getsu9 song after 13 years.

Vocalist Sakurai Kazutoshi says “This song portrays the feeling of strength and kindness, just like what Nobunaga Concerto presents.”

The drama was adapted from manga of the same name and features a star-studded cast including Oguri Shun, Shibasaki Kou, Mukai Osamu, Yamada Ryosuke, Fujigawa Taisuke etc.
