Takahashi Ai confesses to falling for Abe Koji first

Takahashi Ai(27) appeared on a radio show to talk about her marriage to Abe Koji on the 21st December 2013.

She talked about the difficulties getting their agencies and people around them to approve their marriage .

She also revealed that she met Abe Koji in March 2011. “I liked him first,” she confessed, saying it was love at first sight. However, as she was still an idol at that time, Abe Koji waited for her to graduate before officially starting their relationship in September 2011.

On plans for the near future, she mentioned that she will register the marriage in February, and both will continue to work hard in their careers.

According to sources, their wedding ceremony will be held in early summer next year.

Ex Morning Musume Leader Takahashi Ai to get married next year!

Ex Morning Musumer leader and actress Takahashi Ai(27) will be marrying comedian Abe Kouji(38) in February next year. Despite having an age gap of 2 years, the pair have decided to bring their relationship to the next level after 2 years of dating.

Several people related to Abe Kouji said he will submit the marriage papers when he turns 39 next year, and they have started informing close friends and relatives about it.

Their relationship was first reported last year in June, where pictures of their drive date were published in a magazine. They met as actors in a stage play in May 2011. Takahashi graduated from Morning Musume in September that year and they started dating officially.

However, Abe Kouji was married to another woman at age 26. It ended in a divorce later and he has a daughter from that marriage. At one point in time, people around Takashi Ai expressed concern with regards to their marriage.

Despite this, Takahashi Ai came to think about marriage after seeing his dependable personality whilst she was recovering from pneumonia. She is currently not pregnant and will continue to work after marriage.

Takahashi Ai is really dating comedian Abe Kouji!

Comedian Abe Kouji(39) appeared at the press conference for trading card game “Battle Spirits” and revealed that he is indeed dating ex-Morning Musume leader Takahashi Ai(27).

On recent reports that they are to get married within the year, he said “I’m shocked. It hasn’t been decided. I believe love will blossom, but let me report(on marriage) when i’ve decided.”

On their relationship, he said “We’re dating with good feelings. That means I love her. I think we can walk forward together.” When asked if he has plans for a proposal, he said there were not at that stage yet, but if were to happen, he would propose simply.

Ex-Momusu leader Takahashi Ai rumored to be marrying this year

Ex- Morning Musume leader Takahashi Ai, who has been rumored to be in a relationship with comedian Abe Koji since June last year, was reported to be heading towards marriage within this year. Both their agencies have denied such reports. Takahashi Ai’s reps said there were “no plans” while Abe Koji’s reps said “we have not heard anything”.

Ever since their dating reports surfaced, their agencies have confirmed that they are close friends, but have never cleared the air on their dating status. Takahashi Ai attended a press conference for her musical on the 14th and reportedly stopped the conference and to go offstage when she was asked about Abe.
