Kojima Haruna to finally announce graduation today(?)

Hitting headlines first thing in the morning..

AKB48 member Kojima Haruna(28) will be announcing her graduation from the group during AKB48 General Elections 2016, to be held at Hard Off Eco Stadium in Niigata today.

According to a related personnel, she has been eyeing this opportunity since months ago and preparing for it.

 

However, another person says that Kojima  has been practicing her graduation announcement and expecting results from it. Since the morning papers broke her news in advance, she might change her mind.

Kojima Haruna planning to graduate at the same time as Takamina?

Tokyo Sports claims to have gotten insider info that AKB48 1st generation member Kojima Haruna is planning her graduation to coincide with Takahashi Minami’s concert in March 2016. Tokyo Sports has time and again speculated on her graduation date, and whilst Kojima has always avoided realising Tokyo Sports’ speculations, it seems like she’s finally come to a decision.

Insider says “They are from the same generation and it might be due to Takamina’s influence. Kojima is saying she’ll have pressure doing her own graduation concert so she wants to graduate with Takamina. Her family is also troubled. Last year, she invited her family to watch Kouhaku since it would be her last performance with AKB48. However she did not graduate. She also thought about the tough times ahead if she decided to go solo, so she thought it’d be fine to not graduate too.”

However, with the recent “passing of baton” going on with the younger generations, she changed her mind and seems ready now.

Insider predicts that she will make the announcement to graduate with Takamina during AKB48’s annual Request Hour event in January 2016, and she’ll use the first day of Takamina’s concert (26th March 2016) for her own graduation concert.

It seems like management is also reviewing the possibilities of AKB48 43rd single(which features former members Maeda Atsuko, Oshima Yuko, Shinoda Mariko and Itano Tomomi)as Kojima’s graduation single.

In another article where Takamina was interviewed by Tokyo Sports about this, Takamina actually pleaded with Tokyo Sports not to write anymore about Kojiharu’s graduation as it’d just force her to postpone her plans.

Bunshun talks about celebrities and the apartments they live in, Kojiharu lives most luxuriously

In the 10th September issue of Bunshun, an article was published talking about the type of houses various 48Group members lived in. This topic was brought up because of the recent articles about AKS being investigated by tax authorities for undeclared expenses.

According to various media reports, members who live with their families receive a subsidy on their housing rents, in amounts from 1~2 million yen per month. Kojima Haruna in particular, seems to live most luxuriously as her monthly rent is 1.5~3million yen. Her apartment is a 3LDK spanning at least 200sq metres. It comes with 2 baths, a veranda fitted with a jacuzzi and a view of the forest. The place is close to supermarkets and taxis.

Graduated member Kasai Tomomi lives in a 1million yen high rise apartment in Roppongi. She has been spotted going to a Sushi place with a middle aged guy in the neighbourhood and no doubt continues to live a “bubbly” life. (*they’re trying to hint at her relationship with someone we all know about)

Graduated ace Maeda Atsuko used to live in a luxury apartment in Shibuya worth 500,000yen a month, but because of the famous incident where she was papp-ed drunk and crying all over Sato Takeru, male fans started hanging outside her house.She now lives in a low-level mansion in Meguro, about 1million yen a month.

A reporter comments “Celebrities love low-level luxury apartments which allows them to enter/exit easily without revealing their faces. There are lots of cases where idols,or actors in their teens or 20s will rent tower apartments which are properly managed so their agencies can fetch them easily to/from work. However, those with a lower level of income like comedians stay in normal houses.”

There are also “celebrity towers” where you can see various stars living under one roof.

“In Shibuya, there’s a luxury apartment with concierge service, rent starts from 1 million yen. KAT-TUN’s Kamenashi Kazuya, Yamashita Tomohisa, Ayaka and husband Mizushima Hiro, Koda Kumi etc all live there. In Meguro area there is a tower apartment where the average rent is 500,000 yen and EXILE members amongst others live there.”

Celebrities at the Kobe Fall/Winter Collection 2015

Theme is “Kobe Fashion DNA” this year.

Celebrities like Miura Haruma, Tamaki Hiroshi, Kojima Haruna, Itano Tomomi, DAIGO, E-girls etc showed up for the runway.

Miura Haruma tries to give off the cool vibe but the spell breaks as soon as he flashes that trademark smile. I prefer sunshine Miura over cool Miura any day.

Kojima Haruna comes out dressed for a picnic and manages to do PR for both the Ted movie and her photobook.

Daigo appears in his everyday rock wear. Guy seems to have forgotten that this is a fashion event?

Itano Tomomi in a dull color combination. That trench coat is too long for her?!

50 lucky ladies learn about Kojima Haruna’s fashion tips at photobook event

Following the “Kojima Haruna and 50 Bridegrooms” event previously, another event “Kojima Haruna and 50 ‘What to do?’ Ladies” was held specially for the ladies to celebrate 150,000 copies of Kojima’s photobook being sold.

On this day, 50 lucky female fans wore a black one piece dress (like that worn by Kojima on the cover of her photobook) and learnt hair and makeup tricks to look like Kojima. They were also able to ask Kojima personal questions like what she does in her private time.

“When i get home i switch on the TV and just lie there without doing anything. I don’t do glamorous stuff,” she laughed.

She also gifted some lucky fans with personal items like earrings, wallets and clothes, moving some to tears.

In the same event she was asked about fellow members’ preliminary sousenkyo rankings.

Q: Did you talk to fellow No Sleeves members Takahashi Minami and Minegishi Minami?
Takamina had work to do so i didn’t talk to her about it. As for Minegishi, i sent her a LINE message.

Q: Do you want to participate ?
No. If Takamina were to rank first and center the next single, i’d be sad not being able to participate. That’s why even though i want her to win, i also don’t want her to become No.1. It’s complicated.

Q:What other members are you looking out for?
Shiichan who is in 80th place. The event is taking place in her hometown of Fukuoka and she said her parents are coming. Even though 80th place is on the edge, i wish that she can rank in the finals. Also, Shinozaki Ayana. I was so happy she ranked at 43rd that i sent her a LINE message. This girl really likes me and feels like the fan closes to me.

50 fans experience getting married with Kojima Haruna

AKB48 Kojima Haruna(27) marked sales of 150,000 for her photobook “Dousuru?” with a special event for fans on the 18th May 2015. This event is titled “Kojima Haruna and 50 Bridegrooms”.

As suggested, 50 lucky fans who bought Kojima’s photobook were chosen to attend a reception where they would experience getting married to Kojima Haruna. Kojima turned up in complete wedding dress and took a photo with all 50 bridegrooms. Pictures of her growing up were played on a screen and she even cut the wedding cake to make the whole experience more realistic. “I’m happy to be surrounded by men dressed in such a beautiful dress,” she said.

Having just turned 27 on the 19th April, Kojima confessed to feeling worried since it is said that wearing a wedding dress before getting married would jinx her chances in future. “I feel the crisis. Once i graduate, when i think about meeting people, there’s not much time.”

Kojima also expressed excitement when talking about blind meetings. “I want to do them! My ideal type is someone kind, funny, and calm.Someone who doesn’t expect anything of me.”

When Tokyo Sports offered to help her source for the ideal partner, she said “Your choices can’t be reliable. No way!” When asked if she found the ideal partner in any of the 50 fans who attended her event today, she also denied.

On this day figure skater Asada Mao announced her return to competitive skating. When asked if she had decided to graduate yet, Kojima said “Hmm….For me, it’s also half half!” (She’s actually mimicking Asada Mao who once said her chances of continuing skating is 50-50.

On the upcoming Sousenkyo which will take place on 6th June at Fukuoka’s Yafuoku Dome, Kojima said that she’d probably not be able to see anything from outside. “I will go to the event location but I’m not sure,” she laughed.

Kojima also said that she hopes fellow first generation member Takahashi Minami(24) would place first, and also showed her support for Minegishi Minami.

Kojima Haruna talks about Sousenkyo, Proposals, Marriage

Idol group AKB48’s Kojima Haruna(27) was at the opening ceremony for a Tiffany store in Yokohama on the 23rd April and talked about sousenkyo and marriage, amongst other stuff. With regards to her withdrawal from this year’s Senbatsu Sousenkyo, she confessed that it was a tough decision and she’d work harder with a heightened level of responsibility.

“It’s good that fans always want me to participate, but I want to be a person whom fans can say ‘you won’t participate right?’ to,” said Kojima, indirectly expressing her wish to concentrate on solo activities.

With this decision, it may seem likely that she’d graduate soon, but Kojima explained that she’s still not decided on the timing yet. “However, I have gotten advice from a fortune teller. I can’t tell you though,” she laughed.

Takahashi Minami, who is exiting AKB48 this year, has declared her wish of getting No.1 in this year’s elections. When Kojima heard this,she said “I wanted to get into the senbatsu which Takamina is center for, so it was like ‘what?’. I regretted making this decision,”she laughed bitterly.

In the video, Kojima also said she wants Takamina to win No.1. Her ideal form of proposal seems to be having the guy propose while they are watching TV. She also revealed that the fortune teller expects her to be married by age 28 or 29!

Kojima Haruna talks about graduation at Peach John event

This is a Peach John Selfie Party which Kojima Haruna attended yesterday. She was interviewed on her graduation, and the recently released Kibouteki Refrain music video which features graduated aces like Maeda Atsuko and Oshima Yuko.

When do you take selfies?
I don’t do it on special occasions, but like randomly everyday.

What is the trick to taking a good selfie?
I have been doing it since middle school, so i’ve learnt the good angles. If i take a cute picture, my tension would go up.

What are the most impressionable selfies you’ve taken?
I actually passed the auditions for AKB thanks to a selfie. I took a selfie in high school and thought it was cute so i sent it for auditions. As expected i passed.

What are your impressions of the latest “Kibouteki Refrain” MV?
It was like…”Wow Acchan!”

What are the members’ thoughts about the graduated members?
Like legendary..*laughs*

Your graduation announcement has not happened?
It’s not like i didn’t think about it. I wanted to do it if i won the Janken Tournament. But i didn’t. However, i’ve already decided on the dress I’d wear and the songs for my graduation stage. What’s left is the date. The timing is important. (On the method of announcement) I’ll not do what everyone else has done.

 

Kojizaka46 makes a debut with original song “Kaze no Razen”

Kojima Haruna, who earned herself much spotlight with self-created subunit Kojizaka46 during the recent AKB48 5th Janken Tournament, made an official debut with her group during a Nogizaka46 concert on 15th October.

Making a surprise appearance onstage together with 5 other members whom she initially recruited for the Jankan Tournament, she first introduced the group before announcing the rest of the senbatsu members.

After that, they performed Kojizaka46’s original song “Kaze no Razen”.

“Even though i didn’t request for it, somehow only my choreography was made easy,” Kojima revealed, drawing laughter from the audience.

Kojizaka46 was initially meant to disband after the Janken Tournament, whether Kojima won or lost. However, with support from the Nogizaka46 members, including Ikoma Rina who was recruited during the Janken event, Kojima was able to progress to the final rounds. “I was able to come thus far with the support of you, so I won’t disband even if I win,” she said.

The song will be included as a coupling track in AKB48’s 38th single “Kibouteki Refrain”, to be released 26th November.

Firstly, i love that Nogizaka style flowing skirt. It looks so elegant and the pastel blue is so pleasing on the eyes!The dance looks very graceful too and i’m glad they made it simple for Kojiharu because i can’t imagine her juggling Center of Kojizaka, Center of Janken Coupling Song, and Senbatsu of Kibouteki Refrain all at the same time. I can’t wait to hear the full song….read elsewhere the lyrics actually make the song sound like a graduation song?
